Events & Actions

KARA organizes and participates in actions and events to highlight the plight and suffering of animals in Korea. Its strategies and actions are similar to those of other animal rights and welfare groups both in Korea and overseas.

Sometimes KARA works in conjunction with other animal rights groups, such as PETA, to stage rallies or protests. KARA members also individually devote their time to personal animal welfare activities, such as rescues, attending fund raisers, or documenting the animal welfare situation in Korea.

The Namun Garden animal food bank, a collection service to gather food for private shelters, and shelter volunteering are other aspects of KARA's campaigning to improve the lives of animals in Korea.
