Catholic Church Stopped From Selling Dog Meat PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 22 September 2009 19:14

KARA got news that a school playground was going to be used to sell dog meat, as part of the Hong Eun Dong Church Bazaar.

The Bazaar's theme was "Love and Sharing"--obviously this did not count dogs--and it due to be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Fortunately, KARA members were quick to report this to the proper authorities and managed to put a stop to selling dog meat by the church.

Of course, this is not the first time. In the past, KARA has successfully blocked the sale of dog meat at other church functions.

Regardless of the outcome, one KARA was so incensed that a church would sell dog meat, made a frantic call to the church and made it clear how much she was against the selling of dog meat.

The lady who answered the phone was told that children (as well as adults) should not be subjected to such a low and dirty business as the selling dog meat. The lady certainly got the message, if it wasn't already clear.

There is nothing Christian about supporting the evils of the dog meat industry, so it was just as well the church was stopped from such an evil practice.
