KARA members held a Han River March on October 24, as a kind of declaration of purpose and belief. It was not so much a demonstration as a march with religious overtones. Part of the reason for this is because the march, an annual event, was begun by a buddhist monk some 5 years ago for the sake of improving animal welfare.

The concept behind the march is to express that the animals have intrinsic values and rights which are less that those of humans. This is in keeping with buddhistic belief and of course coincides well with KARA's own position.

After the march, everyone formed a circle for speeches and a ceremony on the banks of the Han River.
