KARA & PETA Against Fur

On Friday, September 19, 2008, Members of KARA joined the international animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to protest against fur in front of fur company's premises in downtown Seoul.

As you can see, it's a dramatic performance, and it caught the attention of numerous news agencies. You can read what The Korea Times had to say about it here.

The fur trade continues to flourish with horrific abuses being committed with impunity. It's not just governments that are not doing enough, people simply have to stop buying fur products.

Regrettably, Korea is at the center of this shameful industry as one of the world's largest fur processors.
