KARA began a poster campaigns on July 19 in 2006. The first one ran for one month and comprised posters on the sides of Seoul Metropolitan Transport buses.

It was a bold move and the advertising was seen by many thousands of people.

Some months later KARA ran another poster campaign, this time on the subway system. This campaign lasted longer, from October 26, 2006, to April 4, 2007--a total of six months.

It featured the following banner, a stark message that including sad images of the plights of dogs doomed in the dog meat industry, including pups and all kinds of dog breds.

Here you see the banner in a prominent position above a subway carriage door. This ad would have been very effective in reaching people, since they have plenty of time to absorb the contents and reflect on them.
