KARA Rallies Against Factory Farming in Downtown Seoul |

On July 26 and August 9, KARA conducted two similar rallies drawing attention to animal rights with a focus on the terrible plight of factory-farmed animals.
The rallies starting at Seoul Plaza and proceeded through downtown Seoul, ending on the streets of the shopping district of Myeong Dong.
Masks, ropes and various placards were used. The masks depicted animals from the main meat groups and the ropes signified their continued oppression and subjugation.
The second rally two weeks later featured the inclusion of dramatic white cloaks, representing the angelic souls of slaughtered animals.
More people were involved in this rally, and that combined with the white costumes really made KARA protesters stand out.
In the next shot you can see the ironic juxtaposition of KARA protesters and their anti-factory farm message and the shop front of a fast-food burger outlet.
The rally ended on the steps leading up to Myeong Dong Cathedral, where everyone spread out for a closing chant in support of an end to animal suffering.
