Volunteering With KARA

We have had many inquires about shelter volunteering. However, it can be difficult for a non-Korean language speaker and people relying on public transport. Shelters are outside of Seoul and often difficult to get to.

If you are still keen to volunteer at a shelter, please contact the KARA office for details as group transport might be possible.

For anyone in Seoul or south of Seoul near Cheonan or Asan, we recommend you contact Animal Rescue Korea. This organization caters to foreigners and does shelter volunteering every weekend.

Hongcheon, Kangwon Province

KAPCA (동물학대방지연합) or http://www.animallife.or.kr apparently has a branch in Gangrung located in Gangwon province. It's unknown whether they have someone who can speak English well enough to help with coordinating visits, etc.
