Here is where KARA 2010 party was held on December 11, at De Chocolate Coffee, near Nonhyeon Station. Much more space was needed than the venue of previous years and this was the scene at the start. But it soon filled up at 50,000 won a head.

Entertainment was on hand, including this classical guitarist/singer Ho Seri and a duo who played traditional Korean instruments.

There was also more upbeat music with these guys from the band Ip Bal Su, in colored wigs. The place was really starting to fill up at this stage.

After the entertainment a brief video was shown of some of KARA's achievements for the last half of the year.

Then the big star of the evening took to the stage, Lee Hyori! She was there watching the entertainment and got up to give a speech. At one point she broke down in tears over the plight of animals.

But later she was having a laugh at comments by KARA's Director Yim Soonrye. She also handed over a donation. Soon after Hyori's time on stage, preparations were made for the buffet.

During this time the Stop Eating Dogs petition was passed around for people to sign. After everyone had eaten dinner, various announcements and presentations took place.

Along with lucky door prizes, it was announced that 2 million won had been raised through the Zein Xeno Gallery exhibition held recently.

A magnificent result! That money will go a long way toward helping shelters and animals in need.
