Occasionally KARA members and their dogs get together for an outing at Mung Mung Land, about 20 minutes from Jamshil, near the Han River in Seoul. It's a casual affair with the socializing and exercising of both people and dogs.

So, we thought we'd show a few pictures a recent gathering. If anyone is interested in joining in, just let us know.

This gathering above took place on a Sunday morning and was also for the birthday of one of the dogs. It ended with a lunchtime snack. A new guest on this day was that white Jindo seen on the far left of the first group photo above and in the picture down below. He had been rescued by the woman holding him and was lucky to be there.

The Jindo was originally with a group of dogs that had escaped from a dog slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car. That was when the woman came upon the scene. The extraordinary thing is that she saw the group of dogs trying to nudge him off the road.

She rescued him and took him to a vet. He had to have two operations. Eventually the woman adopted him. She says she's learned a lot from that Jindo.

As for the other dogs who had tried to care for their injured companion, she doesn't know their fate. She could only help one at the time, the one who received a "golden" injury.

At an earlier gathering, a few foreigners turned up with their dogs to enjoy a Mung Mung Land.
