KARA on YouTube

To spread awareness about animal issues in Korea, we've started a YouTube channel. It does not have graphic material because that would violate YouTube rules, but we can show people the terrible conditions of dog farms. You can see the channel by clicking on the icon at the top right-hand corner of the English website.
Or click on the following link to see the KARA YouTube channel.

KARA on Twitter

One thing learned from the culling massacre of the last few months is that sometimes we need to get news out fast. We also wanted a way to spread news that might not get mentioned on the English website. That's where Twitter comes in. You can follow KARA on Twitter by clicking on the icon at the top right-hand corner of the English website.
Animal news and website updates will both appear on KARA's Twitter.

This Month's Net Highlights
- Europe is ahead of the rest of the world in animal welfare awareness, and so in Germany recently there was a massive turnout of people calling for the end to factory farms.
- Mark Bittman opposes wasteful and unsustainable food industry practices and now he has codified his views in a level-headed and common-sense food manifesto.
- Chief Executive of Compassion in World Farming frequently cites KARA in his blog on the Korean cull, calling for international pressure to continue on the Korean government.
- Before Canadians began clubbing baby seals to death, a story came out about a Canadian sled-tour business killing 100 sled dogs. This horrendous episode brought to light Canada's terrible animal welfare record.
- Science is continually uncovering similarities between humans and other animals. In the latest research, scientists found that monkey's also experience self-doubt.
- Is healthy fast-food even possible? A former McDonald's executive seems to think so and is planning to launch a healthy fast-food chain that will even have vegan options.
