Here we  see construction work being done at Ansung shelter in Ansung, Kyonggi-do, about an hour's drive outside of Seoul.

While some volunteers worked constructing new shelters, others spent time on much needed sweeping tasks. As you can see, the pens here contain around 5 dogs on average, and they are very spacious and feature roomy undercover areas.

Here is another volunteer covered in dirt, as can happen. The face masks people are wearing here doesn't necessarily mean the air is bad. It is fairly common in Korea for some people to wear face masks, perhaps if the air is cold or they don't want to breath in dust.
