ADMH stands for Anti-Dog Meat Movement Headquarters. It's an animal group that has been operating in Korea for some time and has performed some large rescues. The ADMH Shelter is located Gyeyang-gu in Incheon and was built in 2002. This shelter doesn't have a manager and is maintained by volunteers only.
Its dogs come from traumatic backgrounds and have experienced cruelty and abuse. Most come from dog farms or slaughterhouses. You can see it in their faces.

It has 40 dogs living there, and a number of them have handicaps like the one above and the other one below with a missing front leg.

But now they are safe.

On September 12, 2010, 13 Volunteers from KARA headed out to ADMH to do some general cleaning, washing, weeding and shelter work. Rain was expected but they went anyway. As it turned out, the weather was nice.

General cleanup.

Washing the dog bowls.

Laundry by the foot-power method.

There was also a lot weeding to be done, too.

And I mean lot!

Trash collection.

Then it was feeding time.

Cooking up a feast.

Tasty treats were given out as well.

Some dogs got medicine.

Human feeding time.

And play time with the dogs.

The crew. Well done, guys!

Thanks KARA!
