On February 13, 2011, KARA volunteers headed to Happy Nest Shelter in Hwasung, Kyungkido. It has more than 350 abandoned dogs at the shelter. They are always in need of helping hands and support.

So KARA chose this shelter to help out in a comprehensive way with a large group of volunteers. General duties were performed like washing and manicuring dogs, cleaning up the yard, and tidying the dogs' houses.

The "guardian angel" of the abandoned animals, Lee Hyori, participated once again! She wasn't in the best of health but she still made an effort to help out.

Also, Kim Hyesoo, one of Korea's most famous actresses, who joined KARA as a sponsoring member, came to the shelter with her friends and famous actors Kim Hyojin, Kim Junghwa and Choi Jiwoo.

Kim Hyojin was in the news recently saying she will not wear clothes made by fur. She decided to adopt a dog during the volunteer work.

Kim Hyesoo donated a lot of dog-pads and Good Morning Pet also donated food and various medicines.

Head vet of Good Morning Pet animal hospital, Jang Bonghwan, and his colleagues gave dogs medical treatment.
